It was a cold wet race! Yes, Thursday produced same lazy cool weather with a little down time to watch movies and clear our minds to focus on the year end race. Bob showed up in the early morning and Nick showed up in the early afternoon to cloudy skies with the threat of rain so we choose not to pre-run the course as this race has a history of having rain issues.

Welcome to the UBRT Racing report from the MORE ORAF 250 last weekend 09-15-07 at the Lucerne race track. It was a very nice weekend with the exception of the fires in the Big Bear area that produced a smokey cloud cover and the raining of ashes race day. Temp was in the low 80s. We started out with a relaxing day Thursday at the track and just before dark Perry Flemming showed up in his #738 Class 7S Race Truck.

UBRT Racing wins in Class 1 and takes 2nd overall at the MORE Freedom 250 on July 21, 2007. Here we are again for the 17th time in 24 races. This time it was in Class 1, the highest of all classes in any of the local series here in California. Team UBRT Racing has chose to run in Class 1 this season for the reasons of the best competition available in the high desert with 13 in Class 1 this race and a total of 92 entries.

Here we go again with a little drama with the UBRT Racing camp! Where do we start? Thursday with a blown rear gear? OK, we change the rear gear Friday morning and put a little lower gear ratio in the truck as we thought we lost a gear.

Well, here we are done with the first race of the 2007 season. With the high desert temperatures well below freezing for this race (yes you heard that right, it was 8 deg Saturday morning at 6:15) we got up to a small problem.

OK ladies and gentlemen, It's Race time again! Next up for Team UBRT Racing is the 2nd Annual Beard Seat Shootout with MORE May 27 in Lucerne Valley of Camp Rock Road.

Here we are again with the second race of the MORE 2006 season under our belt. We started out by leaving early Thursday morning to make sure that the pit area that we had mark in the snow the week before was still there.

Well, here we go again! This makes 8 wins in a row for Team UBRT Racing with a total of 12 wins in the last 15 races.

Boy, where do I start? For a last minute change on where we were going to race we sure had a blast. The MORE race was a 2 race event with 1 track being a 33 mile course and the other was a 13.2 mile course with a 1 hour break in between races for maintenance of the race vehicles.

Las Vegas, CA -- Yes, that's what is says. We won our 10th race in the last 11 races. This great deal of this track is part of the old Mint 400 course from years ago. SNORE put on one of the best races that our team has been to so far. This course was 59 miles long with being rough, having gravel, silt, bumps, jumps, canyons and rally type terrain.

Las Vegas, CA -- OK everybody, read up and follow me on this one! This is great news. First off, I am sorry to let all of you know that we will NOT be at the MORE race next week on the 17th because of my absence due to business in Chicago nor the MDR race following that on the 24th. However we WILL be at the SNORE 250 race in Vegas on OCT 1st. This is awesome news for our team and our class.

Barstow, CA -- First off I have to apologize for being late on the report. I have been on vacation up north and I really would like to thank our team on helping me in getting the trailer loaded and on my way as we had reservations for dinner in Placerville at 7:00 that night and we made it on time. Barstow, CA -- Well, once again here we are looking from the inside out. The weather happened to be in the racers dreams this last weekend with 100* weather and an overcast condition all day and cooled of to a nice racing condition for a night race.

Lucerne, CA -- First off I would like to thank Jim Clements owner of the MORE Series (www.moreracing.net) that our team (UBRT Racing) races in. As most of you know, I had a major part in putting the Beard Seats 1450 Shootout together with Jim's Kartek 300 race in Lucerne this last weekend.

Lucerne, CA -- This is a pre-race report on this weekends MDR 400 in Lucerne. The race is off Bessemer Mine Rd. about 10 miles east of the town of Lucerne on the 247. Our plans have been changing on a daily basis on this race do to waiting for answers on certain products for our truck. One of them has been taken care of through the delivery of all our new wheels from Walker Evans Friday night so that problem will be taken care of tonight.
